The 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference began its fourth session at the Zhejiang People's Great Hall in Hangzhou on Jan 13.

The four-day meeting will see CPPCC members review and deliberate on a range of reports, offering policy proposals and building consensus to support Zhejiang's economic and social development.

After adopting the agenda of the fourth session, the conference heard a work report on the handling of proposals submitted since the third session.

A "committee member channel" media session took place on the morning of Jan 13. Six members responded to media questions on topics of public interest and their advisory work.
