Ningbo-based Chunchen Future Technology Co is gaining international attention for its innovative thermal bottle designs, including a new quick-open thermal bottle, featuring a press-to-open lid for one-handed use, which won the Red Dot Award — one of the world's most prestigious design honors — and expanded Chunchen's footprint in East Asia and North America.
Over the past year, the company has accelerated product development and expanded into new markets, with annual sales exceeding 2 million units.
"Since last year, the company has had a series of successes," said Chunchen's General Manager Chen Lin. "Our design and R&D headquarters and production base have moved to new facilities, domestic and international sales have hit record highs, and one of our products won the Red Dot Award."
Headquartered in Ningbo's Fenghua district, Chunchen has become a rising star in China's thermal bottle industry. Its R&D team, comprising more than 10 core designers, released over 10 new products across three categories last year alone. R&D Director Wu Bin noted that the award-winning bottle is "popular for its stylish look and practical features", with sales exceeding 100,000 units since its launch in the second half of last year.
Chunchen combines traditional cup technology with advanced materials, including phase-change energy storage and PTC heating films. Quality Control Supervisor Wu Zhifeng said, "From steel cutting, water expansion, and welding to vacuuming the inner layers, polishing, and coating, each bottle goes through nearly 100 production steps."
"This year, we upgraded capacity and materials based on customer feedback," Chen said. With production orders lined up through April, Chunchen aims to accelerate innovation and export more Ningbo-made thermal bottles and flasks worldwide.
