Tu Hongyan, chairwoman of Wensli Group and a deputy to the National People's Congress (NPC), praised Zhejiang's business environment during an open meeting of the Zhejiang delegation on March 6, saying it has helped keep the province's private economy vibrant.
Speaking at the NPC session attended by 148 journalists from 89 domestic and international media outlets, Tu said Zhejiang has struck the right balance between government support and market vitality.
She highlighted three key strengths: visible and accessible policies, fast and proactive government services, and clear boundaries between government and market.
According to Tu, companies can easily access tailored policies and quickly benefit from them, while government departments provide responsive services without unnecessary interference. At the same time, authorities support innovation and development without overstepping market roles.
"This business environment — both warm and well-defined — is the core reason Zhejiang's private economy remains full of vitality," Tu said.
