CAS Space rocket super factory put into operation
The Kinetica-2 Liquid Carrier Rocket Super factory of CAS Space Technology Co (CAS Space) was officially completed and put into operation on April 28 in Keqiao district, Shaoxing. With an annual production capacity of 12 Kinetica-2 rockets, the factory's launch marks the start of large-scale production.

Kinetica-2 is China’s first carrier rocket featuring a universal booster configuration. The first flight of the Kinetica-2 carrier rocket was conducted on March 30, delivering a spacecraft and two satellites into their designated orbits.
This factory, a key project of Zhejiang province, integrates rocket assembly, testing, and core component processing. It can produce essential components such as rocket storage tanks, pipelines, and valves, meeting the demand for the Kinetica-2 rockets' mass production and building an independent, controllable end-to-end production and supply chain system. According to a representative from CAS Space, the factory will ensure the rockets’mass production and regular launch schedule.
Wu Yafeng, deputy director of the Shaoxing municipal bureau of economy and information technology, said that Shaoxing has established a certain scale in the aerospace-related field. The commissioning of this factory will drive the clustering and upgrading of upstream and downstream industrial chains, contributing to the growth of the aerospace industry cluster.
