Tickets for the gala quickly sold out online, as this year’s art festival introduced a project to reimagine classic Yueju Opera performances, encouraging fans to create short videos and cultural products to broaden Yueju Opera's audience and transcend traditional boundaries.
The festival runs from May 16 to June 12, featuring over 10 full-length plays and selected opera excerpts.
