Geospatial conference in Deqing promotes global collaboration

The Geospatial Ecosystem Partners Conference was held alongside the inauguration ceremony of the Moganshan International Institute for Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation in Deqing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, on May 23.

The event gathered representatives from government, industry, academia, and research sectors from around the world, with a focus on ecological collaboration and the global expansion of the geospatial industry.

Zhao Yanping, president of the Geospatial Innovation and International Cooperation Branch of the China Association for Geospatial Industry and Sciences and chairman of CHC Navigation, highlighted the integration of the specialized strengths of companies in products, solutions, and services, all of which are vital components of solid international competitiveness.

He also affirmed CHC Navigation's dedication to supporting the International Institute for Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation and enhancing cooperation in talent development and infrastructure.

In March, the Picocom Space-Earth Integrated Communication Baseband Chip Module project was launched in the Moganshan High-Tech Zone, strengthening Deqing's "Geospatial Industry and Space-Time Intelligence" framework.

Hu Houpan, general manager of Picocom Space-Earth Intelligent Technology (Deqing) Co, praised the supportive government services and beautiful environment in Deqing, which encourage a stable workforce.

The conference highlighted a shared commitment to ecological synergy, driving efforts to establish Deqing as a global leader in the geospatial industry.
