SweaterPi, a Jiaxing-based one-stop business-to-business sourcing platform for knitwear in East China's Zhejiang province, has partnered with Zhejiang Hengwo Cross-Border E-Commerce, an overseas warehouse operator, to establish a direct sales center in Sao Paulo, Brazil, expanding the international reach of the region's fashion manufacturing industry.

The new facility will serve as a direct sales and trade service center for the Yangtze River Delta region's fashion industry cluster, bringing together Jiaxing's major winter apparel sectors, including knitwear, leather garments, and down jackets.

Gu Ninglu, operations manager of SweaterPi, said Brazil was selected because of its large consumer market and rapidly growing e-commerce sector. With a population of more than 200 million, Brazil is one of Latin America's largest retail markets. Neighboring countries such as Chile and Argentina also offer opportunities for winter clothing sales.

The partnership combines SweaterPi's supply chain network with Hengwo's logistics and warehousing capabilities. Hengwo operates about 230,000 square meters of overseas warehouse space in Brazil and supports cross-border e-commerce operations throughout Latin America.

In recent years, SweaterPi has helped modernize Honghe town's knitwear industry by connecting manufacturers, logistics providers, and overseas buyers. During the first quarter of this year, exports through the platform increased by more than 30 percent.
