Taizhou University held its third International Culture Festival on June 6 at the Jiaojiang Campus, bringing together students from 47 countries for large-scale cultural exchanges.

The campus was filled with music, laughter, and savory aromas as international students and Chinese classmates set up booths, staged traditional performances, and hosted interactive activities. Performances included music and dance from different countries, along with cultural quizzes that encouraged audience participation.

Fan Jianghui, a postgraduate student, said the festival provided an opportunity to connect with peers from different cultural backgrounds, noting that food and cultural displays help break down barriers and facilitate communication.

Li Jianjun, vice-president of Taizhou University, said the institution is using Taizhou's export-oriented industrial base to cultivate internationally oriented talent aligned with local industry needs. He added that the university has expanded international cooperation in recent years, including joint educational programs, increased international student enrollment, and overseas study opportunities for more than 350 domestic students.
