A Zhuque-2E Y6 carrier rocket assembled and tested at LandSpace's intelligent manufacturing base in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, lifted off from the Dongfeng commercial space innovation pilot zone in Northwest China on June 9.
The rocket launched two satellites — Spacesail DTC 01 and China Mobile 02 — into their designated orbits, marking another successful mission for China's commercial aerospace sector.
The Zhuque-2E is one of China's primary medium-lift rockets powered by liquid oxygen and methane. It can carry up to 6 metric tons to low-Earth orbit and 4 tons to a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit, supporting a range of multi-satellite launch missions.
The mission came less than one month after the previous Zhuque-2 launch, demonstrating LandSpace's ability to support high-frequency launch operations. It also contributed to the deployment of satellite internet infrastructure and related commercial space applications.
