As Dragon Boat Festival approaches, Hongqiao town in Changxing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, hosted a ceremony on June 9 for the launch of the Hualong dragon boat — a superbly-decorated dragon boat crafted using traditional craft.

Held in Nanyang village, the event saw the Hualong dragon boat gliding through the lush, scenic landscape. Villagers and tourists alike gathered to witness traditional customs, including the dragon eye-dotting ceremony, a parade for blessings, and water-based rituals for good fortune.
