Two young people from Taiwan shared the inspiring stories of how they built their lives and careers in Ningbo at the ninth Cross-Strait Rural Vitalization Exchange and Youth Gathering, which opened in Fenghua district on July 9. More than 700 guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait attended the event.

Taiwan entrepreneur Su Chenhao recalled choosing Ningbo as his new home with his wife in 2018. Drawn by the city's livable environment, supportive talent policies, and diverse landscapes consisting of mountains, lakes, and ocean views, he turned his passion for cycling into a business by founding the OK Kids Cycling Club, where he now helps children discover the joy of riding.

Hong Jiajun's connection with Ningbo goes back even further. She moved to the Chinese mainland with her family in 1995 and grew up in Ningbo, attending school from kindergarten through university. Today, she has taken over the family fishing tackle business and says Ningbo has become home.
