A total of 173 young people from Taiwan visited Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province from July 18 to 20 as part of the Taizhou Study Camp of the 9th Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum. This ranks as the city's largest and highest-level youth exchange event between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

The participants traveled across Linhai, Wenling, Tiantai, and Xianju, exploring the region's cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and rural development projects.

In Linhai, the group toured the Ancient City of Taizhou Scenic Area, including Donghu Lake Park. They also visited the historic Ziyang Ancient Street, where traditional architecture, local cuisine, and cultural attractions offered a glimpse into the city's thousand-year history.

In Xianju, the delegation toured the Tongjiang Academy and Shenxianju Scenic Area, experiencing both the region's educational heritage and outdoor attractions.

The itinerary continued in Wenling, where participants explored the Changyu Dongtian Scenic Area and the coastal fishing town of Shitang, known for its stone houses and dramatic seaside scenery.

The final stop was Tiantai, home to Guoqing Temple and the Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area, including the 325-meter Tiantai Waterfall.

Throughout the three-day program, participants exchanged views, shared experiences, and strengthened personal connections. The study camp aimed to deepen mutual understanding through cultural exchanges while giving young people from Taiwan a firsthand look at Taizhou's history, landscapes, and contemporary development.
