A computer and an AI computing system are enough to launch a business at the West Zhejiang Digital Economy Industrial Park in Longyou county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, where a group of one-person companies (OPCs) are emerging.

Lin Hao, founder of Quzhou Longchuang Artificial Intelligence Co, uses his self-developed Gumie Yinxu application to create original music. The AI system can complete lyrics, composition, and singing within five minutes. As an OPC entrepreneur, Lin handles research and business development on his own.

The growth of OPCs is supported by Longyou's computing infrastructure. The West Zhejiang Artificial Intelligence Public Computing Service Center offers computing services at about two-thirds the cost of mainstream platforms, with Windows compatibility and ready-to-use AI resources to reduce startup costs.

The industrial park has set up more than 30 standardized workspaces for OPC companies and provides services such as policy support, business matching, and startup assistance.

So far, the park has introduced 78 companies with combined revenue of 240 million yuan ($35.51 million). Six OPC companies have signed agreements to set up operations there, with five already operating. The park plans to attract more OPC businesses in fields such as artificial intelligence, cultural technology, and computing services.
