Zhejiang Jialift Warehouse Equipment Co in Changxing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, has accelerated intelligent upgrades to expand production capacity amid rising overseas orders.

In the first half of this year, the company recorded 690 million yuan ($102.28 million) in output value, up 12.45 percent year-on-year.

The company, specializing in electric forklifts and aerial work platforms, has introduced automated equipment and digital management systems in key processes including welding and coating to expand production capacity and support the transition toward greener and smarter logistics equipment.

In the welding workshop, an automated production line launched this year uses robotic arms to handle components and complete precision welding.

Previously, producing one forklift frame required at least five workers and a full day to make about 100 units. The upgraded line can now complete one frame in just three minutes.

The company has also introduced intelligent systems in its coating workshop to monitor processes such as cleaning, cooling, and powder spraying. Automated chemical dosing and alarm systems help maintain stable production parameters and improve safety.

Zhejiang Jialift Warehouse Equipment Co has developed more than 200 patents, including 35 invention patents, through cooperation with institutions such as Huzhou Normal University.

It invests more than 4 percent of annual revenue in research and development and plans to further develop lightweight designs and intelligent control technologies.
