Chinese paddler Ji Bowen, a native of Huzhou, Zhejiang province, won bronze in the men's C1 500 meters at the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships in Poznan, Poland.

Ji finished in 1 min 47.10 sec after a slower start, before moving through the field in the second half to secure third, as confirmed by China's General Administration of Sport.

The world championships served as a key competitive test for Ji ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games this September, which he will compete in as part of China's canoe sprint team.
