Demand for heating appliances peaks in the Northern Hemisphere from September to February, making it crucial for home appliance exporters in Wuyi county, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, to meet delivery deadlines.

At Zhejiang Crossbow Brand Electric Appliance, workers swiftly assembled, tested, and packed bladeless fans and heaters destined for Germany, Australia, and other countries.

"In July and August, we shipped about 60,000 to 70,000 units monthly, mainly to Europe," said Li Chao, foreign trade manager of the company. Their compact, cost-effective appliances are highly popular in Europe, with production scheduled through March next year.

Timely delivery is essential. Previously, sea shipments to Europe took 35 to 45 days. To meet peak-season demand, companies increasingly rely on rail transport.

"With the Zhejiang China-Europe freight train, we reach Duisburg, Germany, in just 21 to 26 days," Li said. In August alone, nearly 6,000 units were shipped via this route.

The freight train service operates 27 regular routes, connecting over 160 cities across more than 50 countries, serving as a golden channel for Wuyi's exports.
