At the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, Chinese athletes arrived at the opening ceremony on Sept 19 in elegant blue suits made with fabric from Shaoxing, Zhejiang.

The sky-blue fabric for the Chinese delegation's ceremonial uniforms was developed by Zhejiang Jinsheng Textile in Keqiao district, a major textile hub in Shaoxing. Featuring China-developed bamboo fiber, the fabric combines a denim-inspired look with breathability, moisture-wicking, and antibacterial properties, offering both style and comfort.

It is the second time Jinsheng Textile has worked with menswear brand Joeone on uniforms for an international sporting event. To meet high standards for color, texture, appearance, and functionality, the company assembled a dedicated R&D and production team and spent months refining the fabric, from yarn selection to production.

The company has specialized in bamboo-fiber fabric development since 2015 and has supplied customized fabrics for major international events, including the Hangzhou Asian Games and Paris Olympics.

Today, its bamboo-fiber fabrics are sold in China and exported to Southeast Asia and Europe. Through international sporting events, Jinsheng Textile hopes to showcase China's bamboo culture and textile innovation, while bringing more "Made in Keqiao" products to global markets.
