The 2026 Hehe Culture Forum opened in Tiantai county, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on Oct 27, under the theme "Hehe for Lasting Progress — Walking Together Along the Great Way." More than 220 guests from 23 countries attended.

Keynote speakers included Khairiddin Usmonzoda, director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; Robert Walker, a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and a professor at Beijing Normal University; and Kin Phea, director general of the Royal Academy of Cambodia's International Relations Institute of Cambodia.

Participants said Hehe culture, a regional philosophy rooted in harmony and integration, aligns with the Global Civilization Initiative. They added that it encourages dialogue and mutual understanding between different civilizations, helping strengthen international cooperation.

The forum also featured an exhibition of research achievements on Hehe culture and symbols of Chinese civilization, a global call for entries for the Hehe culture digital art competition, the global collections for Hehe culture practices, the signing ceremony for the Hehe culture technology and industry fund, and showcases of international cultural exchange initiatives.

Held annually since 2021, the forum has become a platform for showcasing the wisdom of Chinese civilization and promoting dialogue between Chinese and other civilizations.
