The 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit will be held from Nov 2 to 5 in Wuzhen town, Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. As the permanent host of the summit, Tongxiang has leveraged the event as a platform to attract innovation resources and transform itself into a hub for innovation.

Ahead of the summit, Tongxiang unveiled seven AI companies, dubbed the "Wuzhen Seven": TEEMO, CenoBots, Shuhan Technology, SENAD, Dayan Technology, Freetech, and SynthCool. Their businesses span AI cooling, synthetic data, embodied robotics, intelligent chassis, and intelligent driving.

The 28-kilometer Wuzhen Dadao innovation corridor links the "Light of Wuzhen" Supercomputing Center and Wuzhen Laboratory. It is home to more than 60 percent of Tongxiang's high-level talent and hundreds of high-tech companies.

Tongxiang is also developing industries centered on smart vehicles, intelligent computing, intelligent sensing and the industrial internet. This year, it became the only county-level city in Zhejiang selected for a national pilot program for data industry clusters.

Traditional industries are also accelerating their digital transformation. Xin Feng Ming Group, a Tongxiang-based producer of PTA and polyester fibers, has increased factory operating efficiency by 20 percent and shortened its R&D cycle by 50 percent through 5G and the industrial internet.

Smart technologies are also becoming part of everyday life in Tongxiang, extending digital transformation beyond factories and industrial parks. A robot traffic officer has been deployed at Puyuan Fashion Town to assist with traffic management and interact with people through AI-powered voice conversations.

A smart eldercare center in Wuzhen and unmanned delivery vehicles are also in operation. Together, these applications show how Tongxiang is bringing digital innovation from the lab and factory floor into everyday life.
