Wuzhen expo features 6G and satellite internet
The Light of Internet Expo is featuring advances in 6G and satellite internet for the first time during the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, which runs from Nov 2 to 5 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province.
China Mobile is presenting its progress in 6G, a technology moving from technological innovation toward standardization and industrialization.
The company is conducting research in four areas: integrated communication and sensing, AI-native networks, coordination between space, air, and ground networks, and communication between intelligent agents.
China Mobile has developed an end-to-end 6G architecture covering a unified data framework, radio access networks, and embodied intelligence. Its field trials are centered on Beijing and involve 17 sites, more than 30 industry partners, and over 10 application scenarios.
The company has also developed a satellite-ground networking system designed to manage resources across satellite and terrestrial networks and enable devices to switch between them autonomously.
