Covering 6.87 square meters, Keyan Scenic Spot was first built in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), and in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the famous "eight scenes of Keyan" were formed.

Through the ingenious garden-styled building of modern times, the scenic spot gradually came into form, reflecting the cultures of stone, water, wine and religion in Shaoxing.

In 2003, people developed the Luzhen Town scenic spot according to the description of the famous Chinese writer Lu Xun, representing the scene of told Shaoxing, including its customs, traditional opera culture and festivals.

The scenic spot is the largest and most complete scenic tourism area in Shaoxing, integrating landscapes, gardens, religions, ancient towns and other projects. It was rated as a national 4A level tourist spot in 2000 and a "well-known tourism brand in China" in 2003.
