Residents in Yuecheng district, Shaoxing, Zhejiang province can now make appointments with family doctors using their smart phones, local media reported on Feb 28.

Making such appointments used to require filling up paperwork, but residents can now do so through the new app called "Yungongwei".

From this year, the city will also carry out training programs in adult schools, vocational schools, and elderly universities.

Given that the elderly' learning ability is weak, the programs will focus on their needs and develop a dialect edition to increase their participation rate.

It was reported at least 15 educational videos and six textbooks will be designed. The good ones will be promoted to other cities.
