A music festival in celebration of the 19th Asian Games, which is set to take place from Sept 23 to Oct 8, was held in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province on June 3.

In addition to Asian Games-themed songs, popular bands and singers also performed a variety of music such as rock and roll and folk songs. Wang Lin, a badminton world champion, and Xie Zhenye, a sprint world champion born in Keqiao, attended the event to greet the audience.

Two exhibition zones showcasing official merchandise for the 19th Asian Games and intangible cultural heritage items like paper cuts and dough figurines were also set up during the music festival.

Keqiao will hold the second most competitions and training sessions during the 19th Asian Games, only after Hangzhou, and six gold medals will be given out during the rock-climbing event held in the district.
