Organized by the Keqiao district bureau of commerce, 18 top-notch Keqiao-based enterprises showcased their prowess at the 2023 Las Vegas International Apparel and Fabric Exhibition from Aug 7 to 9.

Launched in 1933, the Las Vegas International Apparel and Fabric Exhibition has evolved into a globally recognized premier exhibition in the textile sector. This year’s event encompassed an exhibition area of more than 200,000 square meters and featured the participation of 2,000 enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions.

The Keqiao display area promoted the vibrancy of the Keqiao textile industry at the exhibition venue. The array of offerings spanned knits, denim, lace, and other fabrics, attracting significant attention from international buyers.

"We brought 100 products, including women's wear fabrics like knits and woven, of which 20 percent were new releases," said Li Qintao, general manager of Shaoxing Haitong Printing and Dyeing Co.

Li noted that their standout product, the all-cotton embroidered fabric, garnered considerable interest. "Engaging in face-to-face conversations has been immensely beneficial in fostering collaboration," Li added.

The practice of "venturing overseas" to secure orders shows Keqiao's commitment to bolstering its economy.

Moving forward, the district plans to continue its collaborative approach of government-industry cooperation in venturing overseas, thereby helping Keqiao enterprises capture a larger share of the international market.
