Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, is bustling with visitors, as plum blossoms adorn the ancient buildings, creating a picturesque scene filled with the charm of the Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival.

Plum blossoms in the city square have become a favorite destination for citizens during the Spring Festival holiday. Residents gather around the trees, enjoying the springtime atmosphere, admiring the plum blossoms, and capturing joyful moments in photographs.

At the Shaoxing Sports Park, locals engage in fitness activities amidst the fragrance of plum blossoms, with the blooming red plums enhancing their exercise experience. "Exercising while smelling the fragrance of plum blossoms puts me in a particularly good mood," said resident Bian Zhiwen.

In Sizhai village, Dongbaihu town, the "Sishun Plum Garden" is gradually opening up, showcasing over 10 varieties of plum blossoms and more than 300 plum trees.

"During this period, there are almost one to two hundred visitors coming to see the plum blossoms every day," said the owner of the plum garden, Si Shunhou. He added that in the next couple of days, the plum blossoms will be in full bloom, and the flowering period will continue for another two weeks.
