More than 60 textile leaders from major countries and regions gathered in Keqiao, Shaoxing on Nov 6 for the 8th World Textile Merchandising Conference themed "International Co-opetition: Reshaping the New Landscape of the Global Textile Value Chain." The event highlighted industry trends, innovation, and international collaboration in the global textile sector.

In a video message, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Adrijana Mesarovic said the conference has become a key platform for advancing high-quality global textile growth. She added that several Serbian cities are preparing to sign sister-city agreements with Keqiao, further strengthening ties between the regions.

Yuan Jian, Party secretary of Keqiao district committee, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the district's focus on technology, fashion, sustainability, and health.

The conference also unveiled its 2026 outlook on global textile industry trends and introduced the textile industry's large AI model, AI Fabric 2.0.
