The marathon's scenic route remained a highlight of this year's event, taking runners through both ancient landmarks and new areas of the city.

The route passed Lu Xun Native Place and other historic sites, including a newly added Fan Li cultural section. A total of 48 cultural and sports performance points were set along the route to enhance participants' experiences.

Event services were also upgraded, with runners able to receive automatically generated commemorative photos, while digital travel tools helped residents and participants access accurate transport and route information. Nine temporary parking areas offering 5,060 spaces, along with enhanced public transit connections, supporting smooth transportation around the venue.

The Shaoxing Marathon has been held seven times since its launch in 2017 and has earned multiple national honors.
