They walk among us
If members of the Communist Party of China have a defining trait, it is that they are ordinary people living ordinary lives. Approximately one in every 14 people in China is a Party member. They are teachers, nurses, farmers, bus drivers, shopkeepers, and most days they get on with their jobs. But when a helping hand is needed, they are often the ones to reach out. It is in that everyday solidarity — unremarkable, unglamorous — that something remarkable takes shape.
Ordinary, yes. But that is exactly where extraordinary begins.
