Visitors to Tashan Park in Shaoxing's Yuecheng district are being treated to a spectacular summer display as water lilies burst into bloom, including eye-catching two-tone varieties.
The rare flowers feature petals that blend from red to yellow, creating a vivid contrast against the green lily pads and calm waters. Their colorful blossoms have quickly become a favorite photo spot for visitors.
The bloom comes shortly after a recent typhoon passed through the region. As the storm approached, the water lilies naturally folded beneath their broad leaves, protecting the delicate flowers from the strong winds and heavy rain.
With clear skies returning, the blossoms have reopened in full, transforming the pond into a picturesque seasonal attraction.
