Two independent colleges in East China's Zhejiang province were recently approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to public universities. Their names have been changed as well.
Oujiang College at Wenzhou University has been renamed the Wenzhou College of Science and Technology, while Qiuzhen College at Huzhou University has been renamed Huzhou College.
