In Wenzhou dialect, the term citiguo means "eating breakfast", and this is exactly what this episode is about.

In this episode, Akmal, a Tajikistani anchor who is fond of Wenzhou food, gets to savor the quintessential Wenzhou breakfast offering - the glutinous rice - and promote it overseas.

"The soft and glutinous rice paired with crunchy dough sticks really offers me a sense of satisfaction. They are perfect for breakfast! This delicious food has become one of the reasons why I fell in love with this city," Akmal said.

In this episode, folklore expert Zhu Ming also introduces Wenzhou's unique sweet and salty soybean milk and jellied bean curd to Akmal. The Tajikistani also learns how to say the word "breakfast" in the Wenzhou dialect.

Cracking the Nuts of Wenzhou Dialect is a video series produced by the Lucheng District Convergence Media Center and Wenzhou Overseas Media Center. The first edition, which showcased Wenzhou's diversified commercial streets, has attracted widespread attention and praise from netizens at home and abroad.
