The 15th China International Garden Expo has opened in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. This year, visitors who fly into the city can capitalize on their mode of transport by using their flight tickets to secure extra perks at this horticultural bonanza and a raft of other attractions.

China United Airlines, the official carrier for the expo, has partnered with Wenzhou Garden Expo Park to offer unique benefits. From now until March 31, 2027, passengers holding a China United ticket or boarding pass for flights to or from Wenzhou within seven days can exchange it for a ticket to the Weirui Pavilion, a landmark of the park.

This year, the "One Ticket to Tour Wenzhou" initiative has expanded significantly. Visitors with a ticket arriving in Wenzhou within seven days can enjoy free entry to 26 major attractions, such as Yandang Mountain and Nanxi River. Discounts are available at a total of 75 scenic spots, offering benefits of up to 1,300 yuan ($190.73) per ticket, plus exclusive discounts at nearly 500 shops.

Sub-venues have launched various promotions. Taishun county has issued 8 million yuan in cultural and tourism vouchers. Wencheng county offers free entry to Baizhangji and Liuji Temple for all visitors from April 15 to 30.

Dongtou has introduced direct buses from the expo park with special fares, while Yongjia hosts a kiln-opening festival with a market featuring Wenzhou delicacies.
