Jinhua showcases AI innovation at WIC

The 2025 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit concluded on Nov 9, with Jinhua in Zhejiang province making a strong showing at the event.
Two future factories and one digital service provider from Jinhua participated in the Light of Internet Expo, which gathered thousands of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies and products from over 600 global enterprises.
At the expo, Shouxiangu Pharmaceutical attracted attendees with its AI-powered product development model. Researchers are able to give instructions based on sales demand to create health products, according to Xiong Hui, head of the company's biological breeding innovation center.
The company also displayed advanced phenotyping equipment that can automatically obtain over 30 types of phenotypic data, boosting efficiency by over 50 times compared to manually. AI adoption in the company has improved production efficiency by 26 percent and reduced costs by 24 percent.
Truelove Blanket Technology introduced an AI quality inspection system that detects yarn breaks in real time and sends out signals, achieving 99 percent accuracy.
Yiwu Hongzhao Information Technology showcased its industrial internet platform, integrating AI, IoT, big data, and cloud computing to streamline operations for small and medium-sized enterprises in the apparel industry.
During the Digital Economy Industrial Cooperation Conference on Nov 8, agreements on 18 key projects were signed, including two from Jinhua. One project involves a 2.5 billion yuan ($351.01 million) partnership with iFlytek to establish an AIPC production base, producing "Made in Jinhua" computers and servers.
Wu Xianshuchang, general manager of Zhejiang Jinxun Future Technology Co — iFlytek's subsidiary, highlighted Jinhua's strategic advantages, including policy support, rich academic resources, and a growing AI ecosystem.
