Overseas Investment Development Co of Zhejiang China Commodities City Group (CCC Group) signed an agreement with Argentina's Cityblanco S.A. at the 1st Yiwu Summit for Chinese Commodities Brands Going Global on Jan 9. This agreement launched the "Yiwu Selection" store in Argentina, marking the brand's 12th global location.

In September 2023, the Yiwu government unveiled the Yiwu Market Project, aiming to shift Chinese small commodities from merely entering international markets to establishing branded presences worldwide, through five strategies: overseas sub-markets, warehouses, showrooms, exhibitions, and stations.

Yiwu Selection represents an innovative model of overseas showrooms. This initiative, supported by the CCC Group and the Yiwu Brands Association, selects high-quality, original products and uses standardized quality control and international operational practices to build a premium retail and brand wholesale showroom.

Since the first store opened in Yiwu last January, Yiwu Selection has gathered over 200 outstanding suppliers across 46 industries and established strategic partnerships with 11 countries and regions.

Following the launch of the first overseas store in Kenya in August, new locations in Ecuador, Chile, and Mexico are set to open in the first half of this year.

He Lihong, president of the Yiwu Brands Association, announced a partnership with CCC Group's Chinagoods platform to craft a new model that blends offline and online channels for Yiwu Selection.

To date, the Yiwu Market Project has reached 78 projects across 36 countries and regions, serving over 5,000 companies. New sub-markets in Melbourne, Moscow, Mexico City, and other locations are scheduled to open this year, further driving global expansion.
