A delegation from Lishui, comprising 28 deputies and 27 non-voting attendees, has arrived in Hangzhou for the fourth session of the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, which will be held from Jan 14 to 17.

Wang Wu, a deputy to the Provincial People's Congress and a master artisan of Longquan celadon, has called for stronger support to advance the high-quality development of Lishui's classic industries, saying that industries such as Longquan celadon, Longquan swords, and Qingtian stone carving have seen significant progress.

Wang is set to propose further expanding these traditional sectors and accelerating their digital transformation, aiming to enhance the profile of "Lishui's three treasures" to better showcase the stories of Lishui, Zhejiang, and China.

Deputies have conducted thorough grassroots research ahead of the congress to prepare informed motions and recommendations, underscoring their commitment to fulfilling their duties with a strong sense of responsibility.
