The 2026 Puyuan Fashion Week proved a roaring success from March 20 to 23 at Puyuan Fashion Resort in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, drawing widespread online attention and attracting more visitors to this historic town.

Puyuan, known for its nearly 900-year textile heritage, has long been a major hub for the woolen sweater industry. Its deep-rooted manufacturing base and fashion ecosystem have helped facilitate its transition from a traditional weaving town to a modern fashion destination.

Since hosting its first national wool exhibition in 1995 and launching a regular fashion week in 2017, Puyuan has steadily expanded its influence in the textile and apparel sector.

This year's event featured six couture shows, multiple forums, art exhibitions, young designers' showcases, and a lifestyle market with a model competition. The program highlighted both established designers and emerging talent, reflecting the industry's evolving landscape.

The event also integrated local cultural resources. Performances, street shows, and traditional Chinese food were all presented throughout the venue, creating an immersive experience for visitors.
