Huaxiao Precision Industry (Zhejiang) in Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, Zhejiang province, has delivered 201 units of 3T industrial automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), a new energy giant.

This brings the total number of AGVs supplied from Huaxiao Precision's Longquan base to over 1,000 and marking the project's transition into large-scale application after achieving mass production.

As a key high-end equipment manufacturing project, Huaxiao Precision holds more than 300 proprietary patents, with its products widely used in smart vehicles, new energy lithium batteries, and construction machinery. The company started building its first AGV project in Longquan in September 2024 and put it into operation early this year.

The newly delivered vehicles are mainly used for on-site smart logistics in new energy and auto OEM plants. With core technologies such as high-precision navigation and safe intelligent control, the AGVs provide efficient material handling solutions and are key equipment in smart logistics for new energy vehicles.

Zhou Wei, head of the Longquan base, said that the company will continue to invest in R&D, optimize product structure and performance, and ramp up production capacity, aiming to achieve 300 million yuan ($43.73 million) in output value this year.

Longquan has actively fostered strategic emerging industries in recent years, including high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, attracting major projects like Huaxiao Precision while continuously improving its business environment.
