Zhejiang's consumer market saw stronger activity during the Qingming Festival holiday from April 3 to 5, with inbound spending supporting demand across the province.

In Yiwu, domestic and overseas visitors combined sightseeing with shopping.

Supported by the instant tax refund policy for overseas visitors and the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, more foreign tourists are adding Yiwu to their China itineraries and buying products such as Middle Eastern spices, European wine, and Southeast Asian snacks.

During the holiday, daily foot traffic at the Yiwu International Trade Market and the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center exceeded 230,000 visits, while more than 4,000 foreign buyers entered the venues for procurement and business talks.
