The 139th China Import and Export Fair, widely known as the Canton Fair, will open on April 15, with the Zhejiang, Ningbo, and Hangzhou delegations set to field more than 17,000 booths.

This year, the three delegations will send more than 7,700 exhibitors, accounting for about 23 percent of all export exhibition booths at the fair.

New exhibition areas for consumer drones, smart wearables, and fashion accessories have been added this year, closely matching Zhejiang's industrial strengths. In the newly added fashion accessories section, Zhejiang companies account for 20 exhibitors and 60 booths, or 33.33 percent of the national total, ranking first among all provinces and cities.

During the fair, the Zhejiang delegation will organize companies to join a series of targeted procurement matchmaking events for buyers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Morocco, and Nordic countries.

By matching supply and demand before the events, the delegations aim to improve the efficiency of on-site talks and help exhibitors secure more orders.
