Yiwu in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, has been hosting the three-day Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Application Products Expo alongside the Yiwu Consumer Electronics and Electrical Appliances Expo since May 7.
Attracting 800 enterprises, the first day saw over 20,000 attendees, with more than 30,000 buyer visits expected over the full three days, including 2,500 pre-registered international buyers.
Events such as an overseas buyers' meeting and AI application summit aim to integrate new energy and consumer electronics with cross-border trade.
The expo showcases solar photovoltaics, energy storage, smart power, consumer electronics, smart appliances, and AI hardware, highlighting the latest in green energy, smart technology, and digital living.
Ronma Solar Energy Group's booth drew attention for its innovative design. Sales manager Zheng Fan showcased flagship modules with an output of 585 to 595 watts, a 23.02 percent conversion efficiency, and excellent low-light response capability, impressing Middle Eastern clients in particular.
In the consumer electronics area, Timekettle debuted at the expo, leading AI cross-language communication with products like bone conduction headphones, supporting 50 languages and 106 accents.
With Yiwu's excellent exhibition and business environment, this year's expo area expanded by 50 percent to over 30,000 square meters, according to the organizers. They have attracted buyers from Pakistan, Yemen, Syria, and other countries, boosting the expo's international influence. Foreign buyer pre-registrations increased by 30 percent from last year, setting a new record.
