A landmark cultural venue in Dushanbe is nearing completion, featuring advanced performance technology supplied by a Ningbo-based company.

The Tajik National Theater is set to become one of Central Asia's largest and most advanced performing arts complexes. The project combines an opera house, concert hall, and conference facilities in a single integrated development, designed to host large-scale performances, official events, and international cultural exchange.

The theater's core stage engineering systems were delivered by Dafeng Industry, which supplied a full package of performance infrastructure, including stage machinery, lighting, sound, audio-visual systems, and seating, as well as its proprietary stage control platform for real-time coordination of complex stage operations.

Construction has involved significant engineering and logistical challenges. The site is located at an elevation of around 900 meters above sea level, where temperatures can swing from over 40 C in summer to below -10 C in winter, placing heavy demands on installation and equipment stability. In addition, much of the system was manufactured in China and transported over roughly 5,000 kilometers through mountainous cross-border routes, with each shipment taking nearly three weeks to reach the site.

Installation has required phased delivery and on-site assembly of large-scale stage components. The team has had to coordinate multiple batches of equipment while managing tight spatial constraints within the venue. Weather conditions have also affected progress, particularly during periods when sections of the roof structure could not be fully enclosed, requiring flexible scheduling and continuous on-site adjustments.

Despite these conditions, construction has progressed steadily over the past two years. With final inspections approaching, the theater is expected to open soon, emerging as a major new cultural landmark in Dushanbe and a showcase for China's increasingly globalized performance engineering.
