The 2026 Vision Unbounded Photo Carnival has opened at the Taizhou Contemporary Art Gallery in Jiaojiang district, Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, bringing together photographers from China and abroad for an international photography event that will run until May 30.

Launched in 2024, the annual festival has gained recognition for its curated exhibitions and international participation, with this year's edition featuring 868 works submitted by 404 photographers, showcasing a wide range of styles and themes from around the world.

The event is divided into three sections: themed, open-entry, and comprehensive displays. Key highlights include award-winning works from the 2025 Vision Unbounded International Photography Competition, exhibitions by internationally recognized photographers, and a themed showcase focusing on Jiaojiang.

A photography sharing and exchange session was held on May 18 for the opening day, where photographers from Italy, Ireland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia joined Chinese participants to discuss portrait, street, landscape, and creative photography, exchanging artistic ideas and professional experience.

The event aims to serve as a platform for artistic exchange and promote cultural-tourism integration through the visual arts. It is also expected to further strengthen Jiaojiang's cultural profile and expand Taizhou's international cultural influence.
