Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited Minth Group's future factory in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on May 27 during his state visit to China, highlighting the growing role of the Jiaxing-based manufacturer in supporting economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Founded in 1992, Minth Group operates 78 factories and offices worldwide. It supplies automotive exterior and body structure components to more than 80 vehicle brands.

In recent years, the company has expanded beyond traditional auto manufacturing into intelligent production and humanoid robotics. During Vucic's visit, the company showcased a series of dancing humanoid robots.

Minth Group has become one of the most active Chinese manufacturers in Serbia since entering the country in 2018. The company has established 10 factories there, creating more than 1,000 job opportunities and contributing to Serbia's industrial development.

In 2019, Vucic attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Minth Group's factory in Loznica, describing it as one of the city's largest investments in decades. When the factory officially opened in 2022, he was again present at the event, saying the project had brought employment opportunities and renewed economic confidence to the region.

The cooperation has continued to expand. In February, Minth Group announced plans to build a humanoid robot production base in Serbia, with mass production expected to begin this year or next year.

Beyond manufacturing, the company has also promoted youth exchanges between the two countries. This month, 33 Serbian youths arrived in Jiaxing for a 13-day exchange program covering culture, education, and industry visits. Minth Group has previously organized four similar exchange programs involving more than 300 Serbian youths.

Vucic's visit to the company reflected the expanding partnership between China and Serbia in manufacturing, technology, and cultural exchange under the Belt and Road Initiative.
