Zhejiang Huying Culture, located in Wuxing district, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, has announced that its Huzhou writing brush products have been invited to the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Meets the World Cup" of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This marks the first large-scale inclusion of Chinese traditional crafts among official World Cup products.

The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is a global sports spectacle. The Huzhou brush products, blending traditional craftsmanship with World Cup elements, will be showcased to an international audience.

The chief designer of the four selected products is Zhang Xiaofeng, a national inheritor of the Huzhou brush-making techniques. "We are accelerating production and will soon offer our products through the World Cup's online store and pop-up shops," she explained.

Zhang, a renowned arts and crafts master in Zhejiang, has earned numerous accolades, and her Huzhou brush set, Liannianyouyu (Abundant Years), was a national gift at the 2025 APEC Summit.

Her son, Cai Xinqiao, now leads the company, continuing the legacy with innovation. As chairman, Cai registered the "Zhang Xiaofeng" brand, with his mother overseeing product development while he focuses on branding.

Under his leadership, young designers have contributed to the World Cup products, infusing youthful creativity and enhancing the Huzhou brush's international appeal.
