A spectacular pod of dolphins was spotted in the waters off Zhoushan's Dongji Islands in East China's Zhejiang province on June 27, offering anglers an unforgettable encounter with one of the region's most striking marine wildlife displays.

According to an angler who captured the scene on video, countless dolphins leaped and surfed alongside the boat across the open sea, creating a breathtaking sight. 

The sighting highlights Zhoushan's rich marine biodiversity. Dolphins, which are highly sensitive to water quality and environmental conditions, have been appearing more frequently in the area's waters in recent years, reflecting continued improvements in the local marine ecosystem.
