A group of Chinese media representatives from countries including Italy and Spain, along with international students studying in Zhejiang province, visited Jinhua from July 19 to 21 to explore the city's historical and modern facets.

The group visited Ai Qing's former residence in Jinhua's Jindong district. Ai Qing, born Jiang Zhenghan in 1910, is a renowned modern Chinese poet known for his works celebrating the land and the sun.

His residence, showcasing Jiangnan-style architecture (Jiangnan is the area south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River) with intricate wood carvings, offers insights into his life and contributions.

Huang Mei, vice-president of La Voz China from Spain, expressed her appreciation for Jinhua's cultural depth and emphasized the importance of sharing Ai Qing's patriotic spirit with overseas Chinese communities.

The group also toured Yiwu International Trade Market and the Global Digital Trade Center. Zhang Chunmei, executive president of the Dr MetaStar media platform from Indonesia's International Daily News, highlighted the significant role of Yiwu merchants in Southeast Asian trade and noted Yiwu's potential as a hub for entrepreneurial endeavors for Indonesian Chinese interested in China's economic growth.

On July 20, participants visited Jinhua Mountain, exploring sites like Wong Tai Sin's ancestral temple and Shuanglong Cave. Qian Rongfen from the French Overseas Chinese Newspaper‌ noted that experiencing these landmarks enhances understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture among overseas Chinese youth.
