A batch of 58 cartons of meat floss produced by Weisimei Food Technology (Anji) Co has completed customs clearance in Singapore after passing inspection by Huzhou Customs and being shipped overseas. This marks the first export of Zhejiang-made meat floss products to Singapore.

Based in Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, the company specializes in the research, production, and sales of meat floss, low-temperature meat products, and semi-finished products.

It supplies meat-based ingredients to many well-known bakery and catering brands in China and has expanded sales to markets including Australia.

To enter the Singapore market, the company obtained market access approval late last year through the registration process for overseas meat product manufacturers.

As this was the company's first export of meat products to Singapore, the company faced challenges in handling certification and meeting the country's import requirements.

Huzhou Customs provided the company with full-process support, including pre-reviewing traceability documents, checking certificate details, and using digital certificate issuance services to shorten the processing time.

The successful shipment marks a breakthrough for meat product exports from Huzhou to Singapore and provides practical experience for other local food companies seeking access to the Southeast Asian market.
