The "Tea for Harmony–Yaji Cultural Salon" was held in Manila on July 29, promoting cultural exchanges between China and the Philippines and showcasing traditional tea-making techniques and specialty teas from Huzhou, Zhejiang province.

Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, the event brought together nearly 100 guests, including Philippine officials, ambassadors from countries such as Vietnam and Malaysia, overseas Chinese representatives, and business community members.

The Manila event was co-organized by the Philippine Association for the Belt and Road International Cooperation and Tongyun Tea Co, with a Huzhou tea culture team invited by the Huzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

During the event, tea artists from Huzhou demonstrated Song Dynasty (960–1279) tea-making techniques, including diancha, a traditional art form featuring patterns created on the surface of tea foam.

Guests also sampled Huzhou teas, including Anji Baicha (a type of green tea), Guzhu Zisun tea from the Tribute Tea Museum of the Tang Dynasty (618–907) in Changxing county, and Moganshan yellow tea from Deqing county.

The event provided an opportunity for international guests to experience the history and cultural heritage of Huzhou tea and further promote exchanges through tea culture.
