Anji defeated Changxing 70-69 in the Huzhou division final of the Zhejiang Provincial City Basketball League, known as "ZheBA", on Aug 6, winning the series 3-0 to claim the division title.

Anji built an early lead through quick passing and inside attacks, taking a 38-33 advantage at halftime. Changxing fought back in the second half with stronger defense, fast breaks, and outside shooting, moving ahead 53-50 after the third quarter. In the final period, Anji regained momentum through better ball movement and key plays.

This victory ended Anji's run in the Huzhou division of the 2026 ZheBA, with the team moving on to represent Huzhou in the provincial championship.

Known as the largest and most prestigious amateur basketball event in the province, the ZheBA league opened this year in late June and will run until January 2027, with city-level qualifiers and a provincial championship.

City-level qualifiers cover all 90 counties, county-level cities, and districts across Zhejiang and will finish by Aug 23. The top team from each prefecture-level city will advance directly to the provincial championship.
