Chinese climber Yu Yinuo from Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, won the U15 women's lead title at the World Climbing Asia Youth Series Quannan 2026, which was held from Aug 13 to 16 in Quannan county, Jiangxi province.

Yu, who attends Anji County No 2 Junior High School, ranked second in the qualification round to advance to the final. In the final, she and Japan's Sumire Hirose both reached a height marked 44+. Yu won the title based on her higher qualification ranking, while Hirose took silver and South Korea's Song Jiyeon finished third.

The Chinese team won eight gold, six silver, and five bronze medals across the bouldering, lead, and speed events.

Two other young climbers from Anji also reached the finals. Yu Mengyao finished seventh in the U17 women's speed event, while Huang Jia'an placed 10th in the U17 men's lead event.
